The Town Council is the elected deliberative assembly of the municipality. Through its deliberations, it is responsible for managing the town's affairs (town budget, municipal staff, school management, sports and cultural policy, allocation of social aid, town and country planning, street maintenance, green spaces, support for associations, etc.).

It is legally obliged to meet once a quarter, but most meetings are held once a month.
