“Celebrating under the stars”
In 2025, Sélestat will be celebrating 3 major anniversaries, including 25 years of partnership with Europa-Park. The 96th anniversary of the Corso Fleuri, a not-to-be-missed festive event in the Alsatian summer, will be the perfect opportunity to celebrate this wonderful Franco-German collaboration through the ages.
With its twelve floats adorned with dahlias, the Corso Fleuri will be celebrating the partnership and some of the more or less recent attractions, as well as some of the highlights of the year at the world's best amusement park, which is also celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.
This year's edition is an invitation to celebrate, to have fun, to experience new sensations, and to share precious, special moments with family and friends.
With this in mind, a host of festive and fun activities await you in the town centre, including music, folklore, street entertainment and a children's square.
We look forward to seeing you on Saturday 9 August:
- From 4pm: Entertainment in the town centre
- 6pm: Daytime procession - preceded by the classic car parade at 5.45pm
- 10pm: Night procession - preceded by the classic car parade at 9.45pm
- Midnight: Fireworks at the canoe lake
Sunday 10 August will be a more modest extension of the festivities, with an exhibition of the 12 floats and folk entertainment in the Place de la Victoire and the Place des Enfants...

Practicalities and safety
The Flower Corso route (parades at 6pm and 10pm) will take in the following streets:
route de Marckolsheim – rue du Président Poincaré – Neja Waj – rue du 4ème Zouaves – boulevard du Maréchal Foch – rue Paul Déroulède – rue des Serruriers – rue du Sel – rue de la Grande Boucherie – place du Marché aux Choux – rue des Bateliers – boulevard Thiers – quai de l’Ill.
The first parade will leave at 6pm from the Corso site - Ateliers municipaux - route de Marckolsheim (towards the Tanzmatten).
The second night parade will start at 10pm from the Quai de l'Ill roundabout (in the opposite direction).
It will take approximately 1h15 for the parades to complete the entire circuit. Depending on where you are on the circuit, you may have to wait a little longer.
From 1pm on Saturday 9 August until 8am on 10 August, parking is prohibited on all roads in the town centre. From 2pm on Saturday 9 August until 2am on 10 August, no vehicles will be allowed to circulate within the perimeter.
From then on, members of the public will be able to access the town centre on foot via the following entrances:
- rue de la Couronne / boulevard Thiers
- Porte de Strasbourg
- rue du Vieux Marché aux Vins
- rue de la Paix
- avenue de la Liberté
- rue Gallieni
- route de Marckolsheim
A bus park will be set up on boulevard Charlemagne - in front of the Lycée Dr Koeberlé, subject to availability.
Campervans are invited to park in the dirt car park on Avenue Schweisguth.
As far as parking is concerned, visitors will be able to park their vehicles on the meadows on the route de Marckolsheim (depending on the weather), in the Supermarkets car parks of Leclerc (ZI Nord and Allée de la Lohmühle, from 8pm), Lidl, Grand Frais, in the car park of the Lycée Schweisguth (which closes at 1am) and in car parks reserved for disabled persons : rue Gallieni and Porte de Strasbourg.
Two areas have been reserved near stand 1 (rue du 4e Zouaves) and stand 4 (place du marché aux choux) for disabled persons. Further information and reservations can be made by calling the Festivities and Cultural Events Department on +33 (3)3 88 58 85 75.

As part of the Vigipirate plan, the town council, the police and emergency services and private security companies are working together to ensure that the Flower Corso takes place in the safest possible conditions.
